POLAR BEAR PHOTO SAFARI  

Presentation

Join me on a once in a life time polar bear adventure in Churchill, Manitoba aka “ Polar Bear Town”.   Encounter polar bears, arctic fox, red fox, snowy owls,Ptarmigan and more.  Fred will guide you on ground-level walking tours through the polar bear inhabited region.  Small group excursions allow emerging and experienced photographers to capture bears in their natural environment, up close and personal.

Workshop

The trip starts in Churchill. Once you are settled in to your hotel, the fun begins. Each day you will explore the amazing Hudson Bay coastline observing the majestic Polar Bear up close as they migrate toward the coast.  

We allow you to experience polar bears close up at ground level traveling in 4x4 trucks. Participants can photograph the bears from the safety of the truck or at ground level where a guide monitor bears and guests.

Prepare to be wowed!  Whether you are a aspiring photographer, pro-photographer or film crew, this is a trip you don’t want to miss.

Level

Mid to advanced-level photographers; 

Mostly vehicle travel with some walking; can be extreme conditions

      October/November ( book early space is limited )

The 6 Day Polar bear safari includes:

  • Accommodation for 5 nights in Churchill (breakfast included)

  • Transportation during the week

  • Five full days of eye-level polar bear photography

  • Experienced guide and bear guard with 4×4 vehicle

  • Premium access to the Canadian Inuit Dog Foundation (polar bear resting area)

Not included in the trip: 

  • Flights to/from Churchill Manitoba Canada

  • Lunch and dinner

  • Accommodations outside Churchill

Guiding services are available in English and French

Cost

Price is based on double occupancy $5995 CDN plus 5% GST (six days, five nights in Churchill) Single supplement $800 CDN

I provide professional guiding services that ensures the safety of both the photographers and the bears.

Churchill is a small community and accommodations and flights are limited.  Make sure you reserve early to secure your spot to avoid disappointment.

A 50% deposit is required upon reservation.  The balance is due 90 days prior to the trip.

Booking and Cancellation Policy for Churchill Polar Bear Safari

Please read carefully before booking with us.

Fred Lemire Photography reserves the right to cancel a workshop or event at our discression. Although this is extremely rare, we need to let you know this should an unforeseen situation arise. In this case, all your registration fees will be fully refunded or an alternative workshop/date will be presented to you for your consideration.  

Given our commitment to small groups, the cancellation of your spot is a significant loss to us. For this reason, we do not provide exemptions to our booking and cancellation policy. 

-We require a deposit 50% of the total fees at the time of booking to reserve your spot.  The remaining 50% is due 90 days in advance of the workshop

Please note: No refunds will be issued for this trip/safari. You may wish to invest in travel insurance to protect your purchase, should you need to cancel due to an unforeseen circumstance. 

If you must cancel, please notify us as soon as possible, we may be able to accommodate you in another workshop at our discretion and dependant on space. A change fee of $300 is required and additional change fees for flight may be required.
